“I have your heart”

In 2010 New York illustrator Molly Crabapple & international rockstar Kim Boekbinder schemed a scheme to make an animation with Crabapple’s amazing art and Boekbinder’s music. Together with Melbourne animator Batt, a “collaboration of beauty, joy, and unbounded creativity” was born.

The short animation, ‘I Have Your Heart’, was recently released. It represents a huge amount of astonishingly beautiful work. The film is the story of a good girl with a bad heart and of a boy whose death will save her life and is inspired by ‘The Organ Donor’s March’, Boekbinder’s rollicking, accordion sing‐a‐long song about love, loss, and open‐heart surgery.
